Club Fraternité
One mild evening in October ’25 a raggle-taggle bunch of old friends, with nothing much better to do than jeopardise their already dubious reputations, met up in one of Wakefield’s few remaining iconic boozers, The Black Rock.
A seed was sown and the idea germinated into a plan to pep up the town’s night life with an evening of original and unheralded music complemented by supporting artistes, themed playlists and clued up DJ’s.
The issues to be overcome included a small venue, limited funds and very little experience, but hey, these guys come with a history and by the time “last orders’ was called, agreement had been reached to give it a go.

Well, Pay As You Feel (when you leave) though we have to insist on cash only.

Get down early to ensure a good spot.
